The theme of Prometheus and Pandora is that we are all responsible for our own happiness. Prometheus brought fire to mankind and as a result, mankind was given a choice between good and evil. Pandora opened the box and released evil into the world. Both Prometheus and Pandora were punished for their actions.

Prometheus and Pandora is the classic story of the greatest trickster of all time, Prometheus, and his greatest adversary, the quick-witted and clever Pandora. The theme of this collection is essentially the theme of life itself: how to find the best in every situation.

Prometheus is about the power of our minds and our ability to transform our lives. Pandora is about the power of hope and the resilience of the human spirit, and how the human spirit can triumph over even the worst of circumstances.

Prometheus and Pandora are two of a trio of plays by Aeschylus that form a trilogy about the origin of the human race and its relationship to the gods.
