It’s a big responsibility to be a climate change communicator, but we all have a responsibility to be accountable for our actions. There are a few things we can do to help combat climate change, such as reducing our carbon footprint, planting more trees, and eating less meat.

Since the start of the industrial revolution, humans have been releasing huge amounts of formerly sequestered carbon into the atmosphere. At the time, we didn’t know it would lead to a warmer atmosphere, but we’re now realizing that the consequences of climate change are far reaching.

It is getting warmer. If the trend continues, by the end of the 21st century the world will likely be 4 degrees Celsius warmer than it was in pre-industrial times. This is the conclusion of the Fifth Assessment Report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).
