Best tip for fixing a laptop where the power button randomly gets pressed is to use a piece of tape to cover the button. This can happen when a laptop is dropped or the power button is accidentally pressed.

If your laptop power button is pressed and it won’t turn on, then there is a software problem. Try pressing the power button at the same time as the “Fn” key. This will tell your laptop to turn on even if the power button is stuck.

The power button on a laptop can get stuck and not respond to a click. For this reason, it’s important to remove the battery from a laptop and clean the contacts of the power button. You can use a soft toothbrush and cleaning solution to clean the keys. You can also use a pencil eraser to rub the keys clean.

When a laptop's power button randomly gets pushed, it may be caused by dust or debris getting stuck under the button. You can try to remove the power button from the laptop and clean underneath, but if the button cannot be removed, then you may need to replace it.

Laptop power button randomly pressed, How to fix? Most of the time this problem can be fixed by pressing the power button to wake up your laptop. But if that doesn’t work then you can try removing the battery for about five minutes and then replace the battery.
