If we want to achieve anything significant we need to overcome the “immunity to change” phenomenon. The best way to do this is to constantly ask ourselves what could go wrong and what might go wrong. We need to create a culture of safety that encourages people to be honest and transparent with one another.

How do you solve the problem of people not wanting change? To me, it’s a question of motivation. You have to focus on the positive side of change. You have to show your people that there’s going to be a benefit for them if they accept change.

The truth is that no one is immune to change, which is really just a way of saying that we’re all susceptible to different kinds of change, and that change helps us grow.

The problem is that even though we’re all susceptible to change, most of us still believe that we’re immune to it.
