When the number of moles of one substance is equal to the number of moles of another substance in a chemical reaction, the two substances are said to be in chemical equilibrium.

In this example, we have 0.0424 moles of Cu(NO3)2 and 0.160 moles of HNO3. To figure out how many moles of H2O form, we need to do a little math.
