The problem that you are having with your XBOX 360 is likely to be a laser problem. The laser that reads the discs has either gone bad or has not been cleaned in a long time. Cleaning the laser will take care of the problem

There’s a simple fix that can be done in less than a minute. Turn the Xbox 360 off, remove the disc, shut the console off, and then re-insert the disc until it clicks. You won’t need to open it or anything, just re-insert it and then turn the console back on.

It’s important to remember that the disc tray on an Xbox 360 is designed to be easy to use but it’s not designed to be easy to fix. If you’re experiencing problems with your disc tray not reading discs, it’s important to take it to an official Xbox repair centre.

If you can’t read a disc, you can’t play it. The disc is the most important part of the Xbox 360, so you need to make sure that it’s working properly. With that in mind, there are a couple of different things that you can do.

First of all, you will need to remove the hard drive from the xbox 360 console. To do this, you must eject the disc tray from the console by pressing the eject button on the disc tray. Next, you will need to take the hard drive out of its enclosure and place it into a USB enclosure to search for bad sectors.
