The first thing to do is to give the leather a good clean. You can do this with leather cleaner or baby wipes, depending on how dirty the leather is. Once the leather is clean, you can condition the leather to help it regain its suppleness.

Leather sandals are a definite summer staple but they’re also something that needs to be taken care of. If you don’t want your trusty leather sandals to start falling apart, here’s how to keep them looking good.

Leather sandals are so versatile and comfortable that I’ve been wearing them for the past 10 years. Over time, the leather gets worn down and they look a little old and tired. I’ve been putting some leather conditioner on them to bring them back to life and they’re as good as new.

You may have an old pair of leather sandals that’s cracked or just worn out. If you can, take them to a shoe repair store and ask them if they can resole the shoes for you. If that’s not an option, you can use a leather repair kit like the one linked below.
