If your Toshiba laptop's sound works on YouTube, but not on your own videos, it could be your microphone or your camera. In order to test this, record a video of yourself saying something, and then listen to it back on your laptop.

If you're having problems with the audio on your computer, there are a few things you can do to fix it. If there's a crackling sound, it may be because your speakers are blown. To check this, turn the volume up and listen for a crackling sound. If you don't hear one, the speakers may be fine.

First, make sure the laptop speakers aren't muted (you should see a "speaker" icon in the lower right-hand corner of your screen.) If the volume is up then try right clicking the volume icon and choosing "Open Volume Mixer." From here, you can try adjusting the volume on the individual speakers.

The first thing you want to do is make sure the microphone is turned up and working properly in your computer settings. Navigate to your settings on your computer and find the sound settings and make sure the microphone is turned up.

The second thing you want to do is make sure your laptop isn’t muted.
