The easiest way to fix a sticky Xbox 360 controller button is to clean it. If the controller is not working at all, try plugging it into a USB port on your computer and see if you can get it to work.

Sticky buttons are one of the most common controller problems, and they're often easy to fix. If you have a screwdriver, you can use it to pry the buttons off the controller and then press them back into place.

Another quick one. There's a few fixes to sticky buttons on a xbox 360 controller. The most common being to disassemble the controller and clean the pads on the buttons. Another way is to put rubbing alcohol on a q-tip and rub the inside of the buttons.

Microsoft admitted to a design flaw in the controllers for the Xbox 360 game console. The flaw is that the buttons on the controller will become sticky after long periods of use. One of the best ways to fix this is to clean the buttons with a damp cloth and a little bit of rubbing alcohol.
