Find the overflow pipe and pour a tablespoon of detergent. Give the dish soap ten minutes so that it is immersed in the overflow tube. You will clear some calcium deposits during this time. After ten minutes, you can flush the toilet.

Water levels can get low in a toilet tank because of sediment build-up or water evaporation. If you want to fix slow toilet flush, you should first check to see if the water level is low in the tank. You might also want to check the flapper to see if it needs to be replaced.

The first thing you need to do is remove the tank lid and check the flapper. Is it in good condition? If it’s worn or cracked, you can buy a replacement at any hardware store. If the flapper is in good condition, check the water level.

Often times, slow flushing is caused by a partially clogged toilet. To fix this, you need to remove the toilet tank cover, clean the rim of the bowl, and check for any hair or debris in the water trap.
