After the epoxy patch is fully cured according to the instructions, clean the floor again to remove dirt and grease, then sand the floor with 80 grit paper, and then clean the floor with a vacuum cleaner to remove dust and apply epoxy paint. This should cure for 12-24 hours, then you can apply a clear epoxy topcoat.

Peeling epoxy garage floors are actually not too difficult to repair. First, you need to remove any loose flakes and coat the entire surface with epoxy resin. Next, you need to sand the floor down to create a smooth surface and finally, you need to apply a topcoat of epoxy resin.
