Once you've got your shoes looking nice and black again, it's time to apply a leather conditioner to the smooth leather upper to keep it looking new for a long time. I like to use Lexol Leather Conditioner, which I usually buy at the drugstore. It's inexpensive, and easy to apply.

The most common question about leather shoes is how to fix them slippery on snow or rain. You can try to apply a thin layer of beeswax on the surface of the shoes, and then rub it into the leather with a clean cloth.

When cotton is soaked with water, it will become soft and easy to wring. If there is no water, it will be solid and tough. When leather is soaked with water, the leather will be soft and easy to wring. If there is no water, the leather will be solid and tough.

Make sure the shoes are clean and dry. Rub a little beeswax on the soles. The wax will help to keep the leather from getting wet, and also give you better traction.
