If you’ve spilled something on your laptop keyboard, you may have some issues with the keys not working right anymore. You can buy some compressed air at any computer store so you can clean out the bits of food or liquid that are stuck in the cracks of your keyboard.

The first thing you need to do is to make sure that the keyboard is properly connected to the motherboard. There are three possible scenarios for the keyboard not working. One, the connector is not properly snapped into place. Two, the keyboard cable is broken or damaged. Three, the motherboard is faulty.

If your keyboard isn’t working, you might need to download the latest keyboard software from the manufacturer’s website and install it on your laptop. If you don’t have access to the internet, you can try reinstalling the keyboard software by inserting the laptop’s installation disc and following the on-screen instructions.
