I have a toshiba satellite z305-s5874 that has been dropped and the touchpad doesn't work. I need to buy a new keyboar

The first thing to do is make sure you can see the "E" and "F" keys. If you can't, then the problem is with the keyboard. You'll need a replacement keyboard to fix it.

There are a couple of ways to fix laptop keys. You can replace them or you can remove the old key caps and put new ones on.

Usually, the reason why your laptop keyboard doesn't work is because there's some type of problem with the connection between the keyboard and the motherboard.
