If the key is broken off in the keyboard, or the keyboard is otherwise damaged, you have no choice but to replace the keyboard. The good news is that this is not difficult to do, but it is fairly time consuming. Depending on the laptop, it may be faster to replace the entire top case, but that will also be more expensive.

the best and fastest way to fix a stuck key on laptop is to use a can of compressed air. Normally it's enough to spray a little bit of air on the key and it becomes normal again. If it doesn't work, then you might have to disassemble the laptop and clean the area below the key.

If the keyboard is not working on your laptop, then you may want to check if the keyboard is not locked. To check if the keyboard is not locked, press the directional arrow keys on the keyboard. If the directional arrows do not appear on the screen, then the keyboard is not locked.

If you have a problem with your laptop keyboard, try buying a generic keyboard on ebay or amazon and swapping it out. It’s a lot cheaper than having to buy a whole new laptop.

Make sure the power is on. Try the power button to see if the laptop will turn on. Make sure you have the correct AC adapter. The AC adapter is the one that comes with the laptop and is not the same as a universal adapter. Try using a different AC adapter.
