A compiler is a computer program that reads source code and translates it into machine code. The machine code is then executed by the computer. If you are getting compiler errors, it means your computer doesn't understand the source code you wrote. You should then go back to the code and check for errors, and then run the code again.

The error message could be a little more detailed, but it does tell you the line and column numbers in the file where the error occurred, which is enough information to figure out what the error is.

The simplest solution to the error is to go into the same directory where you saved the project and execute the following command "g++ main.cpp -o helloworld" and then press enter. This will convert the main.cpp file into an executable file. Now you can execute the file.

The compiler is the portion of the IDE that compiles, or translates, your program from your source code into a format that the computer’s processor can understand. It does this by turning the source code into machine language.

The compiler is a complex program, and as such, it can sometimes have errors of its own.

In order to fix the error, you can try to download the Microsoft Visual C++ redistributable package. It is available for free here. It is a large package, so it may take some time to download. You can install it and see if that fixes the problem.
