 I would recommend using a gasket sealer on the cylinder head and on the bolt before installing the bolt.

Remove the bolt and then clean the hole out with a wire brush or a round file. Then thread the bolt into the hole as far as it will go. Put a little grease on the bolt and then put a bead of silicone sealer around the bolt hole. Thread the bolt into the hole and tighten it down.

You can fix chevy lower cracks on the cylinder head by putting JB Weld into the crack. Make sure you sand down the surface of the cylinder head before you apply it.

well if you do not want to do it yourself i would take it to a shop and see what they say. if they say it is unrepairable then you just have to get a new head. The reason for this is because the threads on the cylinder head and the bolts that hold it in place are likely to be damaged. The chevy lower cracked bolt hole on cylinder head is a common problem
