The first thing you want to do is get a small ziplock bag and put the pieces of the lens into it. Once you have the pieces in the bag, seal it and put it in the freezer. The cold temperature will harden the pieces of glass together. You should leave the lens in the freezer for at least two hours.

Fixing a broken lens on glasses is a little difficult, because the lens is almost impossible to remove from the frame without breaking the glass. Remove the broken lens by cutting the metal frame around the lens with a fine blade. Use the blade to release the lens from the frame starting from the front and working your way to the back.

If you’re going to be wearing your glasses a lot, you should definitely protect your lenses. When you’re cleaning your glasses, you should use a cleaning cloth that is specifically made to clean the lenses of glasses. Never use paper towels, tissues, toilet paper, or anything else that is not designed specifically to clean glasses.

If you have a pair of glasses that have had an unfortunate run-in with something, you might be wondering if it’s possible to fix the lens. Fortunately, it is possible to fix a broken lens. You can go the DIY route, which involves using a hot glue gun, or you can go to a professional.
