Fixing a broken dresser drawer is actually pretty easy. You’ll need a few tools and supplies to get the job done. If you have some basic woodworking tools and a few spare hours, you should be able to fix your dresser drawer in no time.

How to fix broken dresser drawers? If the broken drawer is not the result of some major construction work, you’re in luck because you can probably fix it yourself. You’ll need to find a replacement drawer that is the same size as the one that is broken.

Clean out the dresser and throw away anything that you don't need.

If you have broken drawers, first clean the inside of the drawers with a damp rag and then let them dry.

Paint the inside of the drawers with a thin coat of paint.

You can try to fix the broken drawer by using wood glue and a clamp to hold the two sides of the drawer together while the glue dries. The downside to this fix is that once the glue dries, it’s permanent. When the hinge on your dresser drawer breaks, it’s pretty easy to fix. The first thing you want to do is take the drawer out of the dresser. You’ll need to flip it over in order to have access to the screw holding the hinge in place.

The best way to fix a broken dresser drawer is to replace the broken drawer slide. The drawer slide is the piece of wood or metal that slides in and out of the dresser drawer. It allows the drawer to function and keeps the drawer in place when it’s not being moved.
