The solder joints on the connector board are broken, or the internal contacts are bent or cracked. To repair the auxiliary input, you can disassemble the device and repair the solder or install a new connector. This requires some experience. Personally, for car audio prices these days, I would buy a brand new unit.

The best and easiest way to fix broken audio port is to replace the motherboard of your laptop. this can be a complicated task and there are risks involved in replacing the motherboard. If you are not tech savvy, you might want to take your laptop to a professional repair shop.
