There are many reasons why your Asus laptop screen may be flickering when it powers on, or even when it’s up and running. The first thing you should do is check the cable connection from the screen to the motherboard. If the cable is loose, that could be causing the issue

The only thing you can do to get rid of this black screen is to press and hold the power button of your ASUS laptop for 10 - 15 seconds, until the laptop turns off, and then turn it back on again.

1. Restarting your computer could help. Hold down the power button on your computer for a few seconds, then release it and see if your computer restarts. If it does, repeat the previous two steps. 2. Disconnect external devices. If you have any external devices plugged into your computer, disconnect them, then restart your computer.

Nothing is broken. This is a common issue with asus laptops. They have an issue with the graphics chip not being able to properly adjust brightness. Try changing your screen resolution to 1024x768. If that works, then you know the issue is with your graphics chip. If it doesn’t, try reinstalling your graphics drivers.

To get the screen working correctly, you should try the following: 1. First, make sure your laptop is plugged into the power adapter. 2. Then, you need to make sure the video cable is properly connected to the motherboard. You can find the video cable right next to the battery on the bottom of your laptop.
