The first thing to do is reboot the device in Safe Mode. Safe Mode is a diagnostic mode used to isolate software problems. It disables all third-party applications, so if there’s a virus, it can’t run in the background and you can isolate the issue.

If you suspect your phone has been infected with malware, the first thing to do is reset your phone to factory settings. This is the process of returning the phone to its original state, erasing any files stored on it.

The first thing I do if a friend or family member tells me that their phone has been hacked is ask them if they’ve installed an antivirus app. If they have, I then ask them to uninstall and reinstall it. If not, I tell them to do that next.

To fix an android phone with malware, you need to start by going to Settings>Security and make sure the virus scanning option is turned on. Next, you can head to the Google Play Store and download Malware Bytes, which is a free app that will scan your phone for malware.

The first thing you want to do is backup all of your data. The easiest way to do that is to put your phone in airplane mode and then plug it into your computer to charge. That way all of your data will backup to your computer. To get rid of the malware, you need to factory reset your phone.
