How to fix a touchpad on a galaxy s 5 samsung phone?

Press the Volume Up, Power and Home buttons together and keep holding until you see the Galaxy Screen. Now leave the Power button but continue holding the other two buttons. Release the two buttons when you see Android recovery screen.

If you're trying to use your Galaxy S5 and the touchpad is not responding, it could be due to a number of different causes. There are multiple problems that can cause your touchpad to stop working and some of these problems can be fixed on your own.

The first thing to do is to check and see if it's plugged in, or if it's a battery issue. If it is plugged in and the computer still isn't recognizing the device, then you may want to consider replacing the USB port or cable.
