If you have a filling that’s broken or has chipped, you can fix it yourself at home. Just get some dental cement, which you can find at a pharmacy. Apply a small amount of filling to the tooth using a cotton swab or toothpick.

If you have a filling, but it's starting to deteriorate, you might be able to fix it at home. If you're worried about the condition of your tooth, a visit to the dentist is the best option.

Although you can fill your teeth for less than the cost of a dentist, this is not the best solution. Without cleaning up the infection and not disinfecting the teeth, you can only seal the damage from the inside.
