A squeaky faucet usually means that the threads inside the faucet handle are worn out. To get rid of the squeaks, just remove the handle and coat the threads with petroleum jelly or plumber's grease. Put it all back together, and the squeaking should be gone.

In order to fix a squeaky sink faucet handle, you’ll need to take off the handle and the faucet head. You can find the faucet head under the handle and unscrew it using a wrench or a pair of pliers.

The sound of a squeaky faucet can be annoying to some but it can be even more annoying when you’re in the shower and can’t get the water to your desired temperature.
