You can repair loose screws in wooden objects (doors, drawers, toys, etc.) quickly and easily. You simply need to make the hole smaller so the screw can grip the wood. It's very easy to repair a hole with a tooth-pick. You only need: a screwdriver and toothpicks.

Better with a dowel and glue tho. Will not loosen off nearly as soon as the toothpick trick will.

Remove screw, tap a little piece of wooden dowel or any wood into hole, ( apply glue as well, to the dowel if you have it), and reinstall screw into some spot. The screw will expand the fresh wood and secure it tightly. Using glue on dowel will ensure it stays tighter for much longer.

If you ever find yourself with a loose screw in wood, don’t try to tighten it with a screwdriver or a wrench. Instead, grab a rubber band and wrap it around the head of the screw. The friction from the rubber band will tighten the screw and pull it back into the wood.

It is possible to fix a loose screw in wood with glue. You will need super glue and an adhesive to install the new screw. First, remove the loose screw. Clean the threads of the screw hole with a wire brush and wipe it with a dry cloth.

Screws are one of the two main methods for fastening two pieces of wood together. The other method is nails. Screws consist of a shaft with a pointed tip, and a head at one end. The head is flat and is either partially or fully threaded.
