For leaky delta bathtub faucet double handle, first check the washer where the handle is attached to the spout. If the washer is worn out, purchase a new washer. You can also use teflon tape to seal the spout to the faucet.

The first step is to remove the handle by unscrewing it with a screwdriver. On the back of the handle, you'll see a small screw with an arrow pointing to it. Remove that screw and set it aside. The handle should now separate from the faucet.

A leaking Delta bathtub faucet often means the cartridge needs to be replaced. To replace the cartridge, unscrew the cartridge from the tub spout and remove the screws securing the spout to the wall. Remove the old cartridge and spout and put on the new. Secure the spout to the wall and screw on the new cartridge.

The first step to fixing a double handle leaky faucet is to shut off the water supply to the faucet. This can usually be done under the sink by turning the water supply to the faucet off. If you're not sure how to do this, there should be a shut off valve somewhere under the sink. If your Delta faucet is leaking, you may not need to replace the entire unit. Instead, you may be able to fix it by replacing the cartridge. The cartridge is what moves the water in the faucet and controls the temperature and pressure of the water. If the cartridge is old and damaged, it can leak.
