To fix a leak in a fish tank without draining the water, first make sure the power is turned off to the fish tank, and the water has been drained and all of the fish have been removed. Once that's done, you should find the source of the leak and seal it with either silicone or aquarium sealant.

Just take a piece of paper towel and place it over the hole through which the water is leaking out. Then, tape the paper towel to the outside of the tank with duct tape. The paper towel will soak up the moisture and prevent the water from leaking out.
