Well, if the hole is a lot bigger than a quarter, you’re probably going to need a new tub. You can try to fix the hole, but it’s not going to look very good and you’ll have to live with that forever.

Use a two-piece epoxy bathtub repair kit from a local hardware store to easily repair debris and small cracks in the bathtub. The epoxy repair kit is suitable for porcelain, enamel, ceramic, acrylic and fiberglass barrels.

To fix a hole in a tub you need to use a tub plug and sealer. A tub plug allows you to plug the drain hole in your tub so it can’t fill up with water. A tub sealer, on the other hand, creates a waterproof barrier around the tub so water can’t get in.

If you’ve got a leaky tub, the first thing you’re going to want to do is take a shower and scrub the tub with a brush to remove any debris that may be stuck in the grout or the tub itself.
