For fixing a broken exhaust mount tab on a motorcycle silencer, first, just buy a new tab unless the tab is severely damaged, in which case you should probably get a new silencer. Second, bolt the new tab onto the silencer. Third, bolt the tabs together. Fourth, tighten the mounting bolts.

First, I started by trimming the broken tab off and then I used a right-angle grinder and a metal cutting wheel to make a new, longer tab that would extend out and over the jaw of the clamp. Then I used a belt sander to round the edges of my new tab so it would fit nicely into the clamp.

This is a really easy fix, and the tools you need to fix it are available to you for free. You’ll need a rubber mallet, a hammer, a flat head screwdriver, and a pair of pliers.

So I managed to break the tab on the exhaust mount for the silencer on my bike. I was wondering if there was a way to fix it. I've tried superglue and it didn't work well. I don't know if I should just ignore it or if there's a better way to get it fixed.
