How to fix a broken leather strap?

Use a sharp knife to cut the webbing in a straight line a few inches from the worn end. Wave the lighter under the freshly cut end. This will fuse the fibers together and prevent them from falling apart. This method is only suitable for synthetic materials, not cotton.

If you have a broken leather strap, you can easily fix it with a dab of super glue. Take some super glue and apply it to the broken area. Allow it to sit for a minute or two and then join the strap back together.
