The average weight of 50 gallons of diesel is about 227 pounds. Diesel is a refined petroleum product that is made from crude oil. It differs from fuel oils like kerosene and heating oil because it is lighter, less viscous, and has a higher boiling point.

If you’re driving a car, then you’re responsible for making sure that the car is in a roadworthy condition and that it’s roadworthy.

It depends on the density of the diesel. If you have 50 gallons of ultra-low sulfur diesel, it will weigh about 1,050 pounds. If you have 50 gallons of biodiesel, it will weigh about 970 pounds.
