It’s recommended that you get at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise every day. It doesn’t have to be all at once – you can break it up into two 15-minute sessions. Examples of moderate-intensity activity include brisk walking, biking, swimming, dancing, and playing doubles tennis.

The amount of physical activity you need to maintain weight loss will depend on your age and gender. The current guidelines recommend that adults should do a minimum of 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity or a combination of moderate- and high-intensity activity every week.
