Compressions to breaths should be performed at a ratio of 30:2. Thirty compressions to two breaths. This is the standard ratio for CPR and it is the ratio taught to the majority of people who learn CPR.

 If the patient is breathing, you should be performing 30 compressions and two breaths. If the patient is not breathing, then you should be performing 30 compressions and one breath.
