How long does it take for a prepaid sim to deactivate if you don't use it?

The best way to keep your prepaid SIM active is to use it every few months. The more you use it, the more likely it is the network will keep it active. If you don't use it, then you're at risk of losing it.

According to the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), there were 2.8 million working days lost in 2011-2012 due to work-related ill health and injury. HSE says that the number of working days lost is continuing to fall, which is good news for employers in the UK.

If you don’t use your prepaid SIM for a certain period of time, you may need to top it up in order to keep it active. The length of time varies from country to country. For example, in the United States, if you don’t use your prepaid phone for 60 days, it will stop working.

It depends on the operator and the SIM card's expiration date. If you have a prepaid SIM card with a prepaid mobile data plan, the carrier will deactivate your SIM card after a certain amount of time if you don't use it.

The prepaid sim card deactivates itself after a period of inactivity. After it becomes inactive, you can reactivate it by paying for another recharge.
