The Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ was released on the 14th July 2017.  This new version of the Raspberry Pi 3 has a faster 1.4GHz 64-bit quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 CPU, dual-band 802.11ac wireless LAN, Bluetooth 4.2, and faster Ethernet.

The main difference between the 3 B+ and 3 B is that the 3 B+ is faster. The 3 B+ has a 1.4GHz 64-bit quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 CPU, compared to the 1.2GHz 64-bit quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 CPU in the 3 B.

The Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ is the latest version in the Raspberry Pi 3 range, boasting a faster 64-bit processor running at 1.4Ghz, dual-band 2.4GHz and 5GHz wireless LAN, Bluetooth 4.2/BLE, faster Ethernet, and PoE capability via a separate PoE HAT.

The Raspberry Pi 3 B+ was announced in July 2017, about two months before the Raspberry Pi 3 B. The biggest difference between the two is that the B+ comes with onboard Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, which means that it doesn’t need a separate USB Wi-Fi dongle or a USB Bluetooth dongle.
