Lg Dishwasher Error Code Le

LG DishWasher Error Code LE

Error code LE is usually displayed in the middle of the washing cycle. When initiating any mode, the pump begins draining, then the inlet valve opens and tanks water. However, when its time for washing dishes, the device interrupts the program, and an unusual noise is heard from the inside.

Description of error LE

When displayed, it implies that there is a failure in water circulation. The recirculation pump is responsible for this process. It delivers a stream to the rocker nozzles, causing them to rotate. The liquid is sprayed on the working container, washes away the remaining food, drains to the bottom, passes through the filter, and enters the tank. Then the pump sends the purified water to the nozzles again.

When it stops functioning, error code CE or LE appears. In addition, it may be caused by engine overheating, and to reset the error, allow the engine to cool for 30-40 minutes and then restart the program.

Probable reasons

If the error reappears after restarting the device, check the circulation pump and the components linked with it. To do this, unplug the device from the mains and get it out of the cabinet.

The integrity of the wiring is broken.

Check the wires that connect the control board and the pump. If poorly fitted or damaged, free. The damaged ends from the resinous substance, strip, solder and wrap with insulating tape.

Blocked pump

Ensure that the impeller and rotor are not clogged with debris or frozen. When they do not move, the flow of water to the rocker nozzles stops, which causes error code LE. It is necessary to remove everything that prevents their free rotation.

Damaged pump elements

If the rotor and the impeller are free from a clog, check them for damages and also check the condition of the liners. If they are damaged, replace them. For ships, they wear out due to moisture. Check out the source of the leak and repair it.

The liners are located at the engine, to access them, you have to dismantle it. To do this:

  • place dishwasher on the back wall;
  • pull out the cover;
  • untwist the three screws on the ground wires on the bracket;
  • unplug the harness;
  • remove the four fasteners that fix the circulation pump motor inside the dishwasher.

After that, you need to install a new assembled pump.

The main control board fails.

If the mechanical parts and wiring are in working condition, check the control board. It may have burnt-out tracks, contacts, and other elements that need to be soldered or twisted. They may also need to be replaced if the processor is damaged or is vigorously melted. In this case, replace the microcircuit.
