The most important thing you can do is to develop relationships with your children. It might seem a bit cliche, but it’s true -- you have to treat each child as an individual and develop a relationship with them.

A key element in the sociological imagination is the ability to view one's own society from the perspective of an outsider and, in turn, to view other societies from the perspective of an insider.

Attachment is fostered in early education and care settings through the use of routines, recognition of individual differences, and caregiver sensitivity. Routines help children develop a sense of security through predictability, while recognizing individual differences allows for children to feel safe and secure.
