The summer of 2015 was one of the most memorable in recent memory. From the Pan Am Games to the Toronto Blue Jays’ amazing playoff run, Canadians were reminded how much they love their country (and how much Canada loves them back).

It's been a season to remember for the Canadian national team, and one that will be talked about for a long time. From the highs of Canada winning their first ever Women's World Cup in a year that also saw the men's team rise to new heights, it's been a summer to remember for soccer in this country.

By the end of the 2016-17 season, the Canadian men’s team had won gold at the 2015 Pan Am Games in Toronto, bronze at the 2015 FIBA Americas Championship in Edmonton and Mexico City, qualified for the 2016 Rio Olympics, and secured Canada a spot at the 2017 FIBA World Cup, to be held in China.

The summer of 2015 was a summer to remember. The world's eyes were on Canada because of the Pan Am and Parapan Am Games and because of the FIFA Women's World Cup. The Canadian women's soccer team ended up giving us our best summer in twenty-two years.

It’s been a summer to remember for Canada, as the men’s national team finished fourth at the FIFA World Cup in Russia. It’s the best finish for a Canadian team since 1997 when we were third, and it’s the first time we’ve made the quarterfinals since 1986.
